There's no use of a "recorder" in that video.
The instruments you're probably talking about are either 1) a melodica or 2) soprano saxophone (actually, I'm not sure if that's what he's holding).
Really, though - all of that shit is electronic and they're just acting like they're playing. Take, for example, the drummer. He's not playing two snare drums! That shit's electronic and all synth...and that is why I LOVE IT.
